Why did you choose to study/intern abroad?
I have always had a passion for travel and adventure. Study abroad is a great opportunity to combine schooling and cultural experiences together. I believe everyone should at least try to do it because you will never get such an amazing opportunity like this again.
Why did you choose your study/intern city?
I believe Prague chose me. When applying, my major was only open to three countries. The other two I didn't choose due to them being hot. Prague's weather, history, landscaping, and availability to other countries was perfect, and I could not say no.
What are you most looking forward to during your abroad experience?
It would be easier to ask what I'm not looking forward to. Besides the obvious things like food and architecture, I cannot wait to experience a new culture. I have only been out of country once and it was for a mission trip, so I was unable to really see what the whole country had to offer. With an experience like this, I will be able to make my own schedule (besides my schooling) and do the things that interest me the most. I also can't wait to meet other people -- whether they be locals, or my roommates.
Fun Fact (hobbies, interests, accomplishment, etc.)?
Hobbies include photography, cooking, hiking, and recently drawing. My interests include travel, dogs, and people. I love learning and expanding my knowledge of places and languages. I also really love National Parks. My accomplishments consist of winning state in mohair, winning first place showing sheep in San Angelo, and last semester I was student major at Chick-Fil-A.
