In an increasingly globalized world, people move freely over boundaries...and so do diseases. CEA CAPA's courses in Health Sciences allow you to explore contemporary issues and cross-cultural definitions of health. We offer a range of courses, from core courses in biology or chemistry, courses in health-related social science fields such as sociology and psychology to courses with an interdisciplinary lens, such as neuroscience.

When you study Health Sciences with CEA CAPA, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to take your learning outside of the classroom and experience it within your host culture. You’ll also benefit from the support of our local staff, who are just as invested in your study abroad experience as you are.

Want to take your studies a step further? CEA CAPA offers medical shadowing placements abroad! These programs combine 60-hours of clinical shadowing with a purpose-designed 3-credit academic course. Gain valuable firsthand experience through directly observing doctors in their day-to-day work in an international setting.

CEA CAPA’s Pre-Health Seminar & Shadowing is currently available in Rome and Madrid.
