The Positivity in Culture Shock

I knew that moving to the south of France would be completely different than my Midwestern American life, but I was not expecting this much culture shock. However, even though this term usually exudes a negative connotation, I mean it completely positively! I cannot get enough of the beautiful architecture, Mediterranean beach culture, and all of the different food. Exploring Antibes’ picturesque streets every day never gets boring, because every corner has even more unexpected beauty. I hope I never take walking around this city for granted. Before studying here, a goal I made for myself was to always live in the moment. Although it is a little bit hard to measure, I want to wake up every morning knowing that living here for four months is the best decision I have ever made.
