I first visited Paris in August 2014 for a four-day whirlwind tour at the close of a summer escapade in Europe, and now, after more than three years, I've come back.

In a sense, my semester studying abroad in Paris with CEA is a homecoming—but one that affords me the tools and opportunities to engage much more meaningfully with French culture and the Parisian world than one could ever hope to accomplish in four days.

stunning stone figures

The city has continued its evolution—wheat-paste posters changing hundreds of times, facades evolving under the weather's confrontation, locks multiplying on bridges—but, as the maxim aptly states, some things don't change. As I explore Paris again with new lenses, these are the sights and places that amplify my connection to Paris.

social birds galore, unsurprisingly, at the fountain of Jardin des Tuileries

the Louvre Pyramid, with all the grandeur you'd expect
Pont d'Arcole, the most direct path from CEA Center to Notre Dame!
