One of the most striking differences between Europe and the United States is the state of transportation. Getting around in almost all of Europe is a breeze. In Grenoble, a well-planned tram system takes you almost anywhere you need to go quickly and efficiently. Aside from some crowded early morning trams, I found the transportation system to be one of the best aspects of living in Europe. It eliminates the need for an expensive car, which goes a long way in saving money when you're a college student on a budget!
