I encourage anyone who reads this to travel solo at least one time in Europe while you are here. It changes everything. I traveled alone twice while being abroad. I went to Paris and Lake Como.
Both experiences were different, yet brought me closer to loving and discovering myself. It is very intimidating and scary to spend a whole weekend alone with just yourself. The motto I told myself while traveling alone was: "I am alone, but I don't feel lonely".
Then it hit me, I did not feel lonely and I enjoyed my own company. So many people are afraid of being alone, but being able to navigate through a new country when you do not speak the language is something else. It made me feel very empowered.
