Here are the best places to relax, unwind, and have a great time with friends when studying abroad in London. Not that it's hard to do!
Sky Garden
Combining an incredible view of London, indoor rooftop garden, and a prime refreshments, The Sky Garden is home for an epic time. Located atop the famous Walkie Talkie building in London, reservations are recommended for this top notch spot. Although it's a bit pricey, keep in mind you're also paying for a breathtaking view in a magical setting.

The Blind Pig
The Blind Pig is the place to be for movie buffs, book worms, and those with a courageous set of tastebuds. This place is made famous for it’s wild menu inspired by the stories of Harry Potter, Peter Pan, Treasure Island, Winnie The Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, and more. Be sure to take a trip down memory lane and explore the taste of your favorite fantasy world at The Blind Pig.

Proud Camden
Once an old horse barn, Proud Camden is now a guaranteed good time. With our big group we pooled in our money to rent a private stable which included plenty of provisions. There were three different rooms throughout the building that played music ranging different genres. Only downside: cobble stone floors are a real pain.
Super happy because of all the nachos and pizza we got in the private stable |
Bounce
Bounce is a restaurant with ping pong! The perfect location for a group of friends to hang out to get to know each other. With two locations, you can "bounce" between a classic after-work environment or an industrial artsy setting. Both playing the best sing-along tunes you know and love. The price for a table is £20 for 30 minutes of playing time. Pretty reasonable if you split among friends. This is also a place to reserve ahead of time, as it’s one of the most popular hangouts in town.

Glowy McGlowerson
I rank Glowy McGlowerson at number one because it is truly an experience unlike any other. The entire room is a huge glow in the dark ball pit with a killer DJ. Definitly a great place to go with friends. Be sure to sign up online for a time slot because there are only a certain number of people allowed.
