As my semester on the Riviera slowly approaches its end, my mind is desperately trying to grip onto all the scents, tastes, and sounds that
are the Côte d'Azur.
Cap D'Antibes is spellbindingly charming, in every sense of the word. It's the countless colorful alleyways that manage to conceal countless dainty cafes, the gray cobblestone that impeccably dressed French woman tread their heels on. It’s the smell of freshly baked croissants in the morning and walking by endless glass windows of perfectly decorated pastries, only to choose something filled with Nutella.

Antibes Christmas Market |
It’s walking down the pier on a clear sunny day to shiny boats on the water. It’s the feeling of rocks underneath your feet as the warm blue ocean reaches your ankles. It’s happiness served on a plate found at the pizza restaurant in the center of town. It’s never being able to say no to Amorino’s gelato shaped like a rose on a cone.

My obvious favorite- Fitzgerald's Bar |
As you can tell, I’ll miss the food here a lot. But back to the important part- the Riviera is bliss. This magical coast somehow has the power to make you feel like all your problems are so far away. Even calories! Don’t think about counting them- seriously the four cheese pizzas in France are worth
every bite.

Because what would France be without macarons |
Life is just simple here. The best pizza in the world is on every corner, you can time travel at Fitzgerald’s bar, or spend your day laying on the beach. It really is just that easy. Yeah you have to go to school and all that too, but the serenity of the coastline and the restful French culture will make the best semester of your life. Learn about art-it’s
everywhere here. Become a wine connoisseur. Master the cheese cuisine. But most importantly, learn about yourself- you’ll be surprised with what you find. In a city that has endless inspiration to offer you, make sure you take the opportunity to get lost in it.
