I love coffee. Some would say I'm addicted, but it's hard not to be when you're in culture that has a thriving coffee shop scene. The coffee culture is prominent in Dublin for a few reasons: the young population and the growing independent business sector, but one reigns above all. Simply put, Ireland has amazing coffee. It's bitter yet smooth, strong yet not overpowering. In short, it's perfect. So yes, I get coffee once or twice a day, and in the words of Justin Bieber, "by once or twice I mean maybe a couple of hundred times." I am, however, not sorry.
Some of my favorite places to get coffee, featured in the video above, include: Kaph, Considered, Industry, Queen of Tarts, Roasted Brown, Blas, and Love Supreme.
Should you be interested in going to any of these places, all of them are located in South Dublin with the exceptions of Blas and Love Supreme which are located in North Dublin.
Happy coffee drinking!
