Through CEA, there are many excursions you can chose to go on. We’ve gone to Turin, Bologna, and Cinque Terre.

Neighborhood in Cinque Terre |
My personal favorite so far was the trip to Cinque Terre. We went mid-September when it was still warm enough to go to the beach and swim in the sea. We traveled between the cities by train, but there are other ways to see the five cities. I unfortunately did not take the time to go on the hike, but there is a very beautiful and scenic hikes you can take to travel though the five cities though it make take you awhile.

View of the shore of Monterosso |
Out of the five cities in Cinque Terre, I spent the most time in Monterosso, the last in the row of the cities. The shore is lined with rows of colorful umbrellas and beach chairs.

There were also several restaurants on the water with amazing views of the sea, and fresh seafood being served. As you walked further away from the water the town became more authentic, no more touristic stores or restaurants, all apartments, small bed and breakfast and little roadside grocery stores.

Overall, the city is everything you want for a weekend excursion, picturesque views, warm weather and yummy fresh seafood!
