Study and intern in one of world’s major economic centers. Learn about Asian-Pacific trade and work environment, both in the classroom and at your internship site. Explore and engage in international business, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Australia’s global business hub, both in the classroom and through an optional for-credit Global Internship. Choose courses and an optional internship in general business, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, and marketing, plus take courses at the CEA CAPA Sydney Center in disciplines such as business, history, and global studies. If you choose to participate in an internship, you'll acquire useful professional skills for your future career, enhance your classroom experience, connect with locals, and improve your resume.

When you study abroad at the CEA CAPA Sydney Center, you’ll experience an immersive study abroad environment in one of the world’s most vibrant and engaging cities. You will be on the campus of the University of Technology Sydney, surrounded by other students, in the historic Haymarket precinct—a dynamic and centrally located neighborhood rich in cultural heritage and urban energy. Haymarket is known for its diverse cuisines, entertainment options, and proximity to major attractions.
With convenient access to public transportation, including Central Station, you can easily explore Sydney’s diverse neighborhoods and iconic landmarks. A 10-minute walk brings you to Darling Harbour, a 15-minute bus ride takes you to Circular Quay, the Sydney Opera House, and the Harbour Bridge. You will also have easy access to Sydney's stunning beaches, including the famous Bondi Beach, and the serene shores of Manly within close proximity of the Sydney Center and nearby student housing.
The Sydney Center fosters a collaborative learning environment with small class sizes, modern classrooms, and a welcoming student lounge. Faculty-led courses, cultural excursions, and activities bring Sydney’s history, natural landscapes, and global relevance into the curriculum. Accreditation
Courses taught at the CEA CAPA Sydney Center have been designed in conjunction with, and approved by, the University of New Haven (UNH). In addition, faculty appointments have been approved by UNH. After the successful completion of a session at the CEA CAPA Sydney Center, you will receive credit for your work from UNH. Located in Connecticut, the University of New Haven is a student-focused, comprehensive university that’s fully accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). The agreement between CEA CAPA and UNH follows the highest standards of good practice in education abroad and satisfies the rigorous requirements of the University's institutional accreditor, making credits earned at the CEA CAPA Sydney Center easily transferable to US-accredited institutions. Grading
Professors at the CEA CAPA Sydney Center carefully evaluate student's work and progress throughout their academic session. When calculating final grades, instructors consider written and oral exercises, homework assignments, attendance, classroom participation, and exam performance. Live in an apartment hotel located within convenient access to public transportation, approximately 40 minutes by bus or train commute from the Sydney Centre. Option is slightly further from the Centre, but a shorter commute by public transport. The option includes cleaning service, free laundry facilities, sauna, gym and pool. You will share your room with a peer, apartments could house between 2-6 students with the majority housing 4 students. No meal plan is included however a kitchen is provided. Towels and linen are included.

Get out and explore! Excursions are offered for most semester, year, and summer programs. Semester students are typically offered between two to three excursions and summer study students are typically offered between one to two excursions. You'll receive a calendar of excursions during orientation; here are a few day and overnight excursions we've offered in the past.
