Study and intern in one of world’s major economic centers. Learn about Asian-Pacific trade and work environment, both in the classroom and at your internship site. Explore and engage in international business, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Australia’s global business hub, both in the classroom and through an optional for-credit Global Internship. Choose courses and an optional internship in general business, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, and marketing, plus take courses at the CEA CAPA Sydney Center in disciplines such as business, history, and global studies. If you choose to participate in an internship, you'll acquire useful professional skills for your future career, enhance your classroom experience, connect with locals, and improve your resume.

Program Structure & Courses

You'll enroll in 2 courses at the CEA CAPA Sydney Center from the catalog of course options available to you. Courses meet for 45 contact hours/3 credits. Overall, you may earn 6 credits.

Courses meet Monday through Thursday.

Prior to departure, you will select your preferred courses. You will be enrolled into courses based on their availability. It is in your best interest to have multiple alternative courses approved by your home university prior to your departure due to course availabilities. Please consult with your academic advisor at your home university on credit pre-approval guidelines.

Excursions

Get out and explore! Excursions are offered for most semester, year, and summer programs. Semester students are typically offered between two to three excursions and summer study students are typically offered between one to two excursions. You'll receive a calendar of excursions during orientation; here are a few day and overnight excursions we've offered in the past.
