About the Program

Hone your business skills in an international setting. Choose courses in a range of business disciplines, all taught in English, and enroll in a French language course at your level. If you're already a fluent French speaker, you may choose another language course, such as Spanish, German, or Chinese. You’ll attend class alongside students from a wide range of nationalities and academic backgrounds, providing both valuable business education and a unique cross-cultural experience. Students who successfully complete the program will earn a Certificate in Business Studies.

Credits

Program Structure & Courses

You will enroll in 2 language courses and 5 business courses. Classes meet for 15-30 contact hours/1.25-2.5 credits. You may earn a total of 15 credits (up to 180 contact hours).
 
Business and language courses meet Monday-Friday. Active learning components required by your courses may be scheduled for Fridays.

You'll take a language placement exam after you arrive in Grenoble and be enrolled in a language course based on the results. You'll be automatically enrolled in business courses. To ensure that you receive credit for the language level you place into, have your home university pre-approve courses at several levels before you leave for France. Please consult with your academic advisor at your home university on credit pre-approval guidelines.

Get out and explore! Excursions are offered for most semester, year, and summer programs. Semester students are typically offered between two to three excursions and summer study students are typically offered between one to two excursions. You'll receive a calendar of excursions during orientation; here are a few day and overnight excursions we've offered in the past.
