During the course, students will gain the necessary skills to create narratives (oral and written) detail and explain events in different tenses. Students will be able to interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Additionally, they are encouraged to initiate processes of self-correction, self-monitoring and peer feedback. Students will be able to produce clear and detailed speech and texts on a wide range of familiar topics, use different time frames, support their opinions/viewpoints, add details, and provide explanations as necessary.
