Why did you choose to study/intern abroad?
Studying abroad is something I have wanted to do since middle school, since I have always had the travel bug. After doing a two-week exchange in high school, I promised myself I would go back to Europe for a full semester in college and really immerse myself in the culture. I am excited to explore a new city and get out of my comfort zone, and learn about a new place and about myself in the process!

Why did you choose your study/intern city?
I chose Seville because I love and appreciate the Spanish culture and more relaxed way of life, and also to further develop my language skills. My high school exchange was in a city in southern Spain called Almeria, and after just two weeks, I knew I needed to come back to Spain. Seville seemed like the perfect size, and I love how they have such an authentic culture. I definitely can't complain about the climate, either!

What are you most looking forward to during your abroad experience?
I am excited to explore Europe and experience so many different cultures firsthand! I am also excited to meet new people and push myself out of my comfort zone — there's nothing more exciting than knowing you have a 4-month-long adventure ahead of you! I'm going with as few expectations as possible, but am excited to see how it will all unfold.

Fun Fact (hobbies, interests, accomplishment, etc.)?
I really enjoy arts of all kinds — visual arts, performing arts, and music especially. I myself am a visual artist, mostly working with painting, drawing, and printmaking. I also absolutely love live music, and try to go to as many concerts and music festivals as my bank account will allow!
