Why did you choose to study/intern abroad?
I wanted to expand my international experience and immerse myself in an unfamiliar environment.

Why did you choose your study/intern city?
I chose San José because it is surrounded by some of the most biodiverse lands and coasts on the planet! I've also been eager to practice my Spanish, and working in San José will allow me to do so almost every day.

What are you most looking forward to during your abroad experience?
I am looking forward to exploring the natural areas of Costa Rica both on land and underwater. I'm eager to scuba dive, hike, take photos and videos of wildlife, try new foods, and explore the city. I'm also excited to gain more confidence in my Spanish speaking abilities.

Fun Fact (hobbies, interests, accomplishment, etc.)?
I love anything that involves adventure: skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving, backpacking, etc. I even enjoy skateboarding and surfing, even though my only attempts at them did not go too well.
