Why did you choose to study/intern abroad?
I have always wanted to study abroad in college because I thought it would be such a unique opportunity to meet people and experience things that are not otherwise possible with the typical budget and time constraints of a college student. I wanted to meet people from all over the world and experience college life outside of the US, as well as see how cultural differences were reflected in my classes.

Why did you choose your study/intern city?
I chose Prague because I had many people recommend the city to me for its beautiful scenery, culturally rich downtown area, and vibrant nightlife. I thought it had a perfect balance of urban areas, historical sites, and green space, and I was also excited about its central location in Europe which would allow me to travel around on the weekends. I also really liked the coursework offered at the university I am enrolled in because they had more diverse offerings for my major than my home university.

What are you most looking forward to during your abroad experience?
I am most looking forward to meeting new people and taking on the challenge of trying to see and do as much as possible with my new friends as I possibly can. I am also an avid runner, so I am really excited to find new running routes and see how I might be able to weave some sightseeing into my morning runs!

Fun Fact (hobbies, interests, accomplishment, etc.)?
I have run 4 half marathons, but I would love to run a full marathon some day! I would also love to branch out and run them in new places, as I've only ever run the Pittsburgh Half Marathon.
