Megan Randall, Director of Career Development Initiatives

CIP Leadership

Megan Randall provides leadership and direction for CEA CAPA's career development initiatives for students. She is responsible for advancing the organization's commitment to facilitating "Career Development for All", ensuring all CEA CAPA students gain the essential career-readiness competencies they need to succeed on their programs abroad and thrive in the 21st century global workforce once they return home. Megan works closely with institutional partners and CEA CAPA colleagues across the globe to identify student career development needs and hiring trends, to ensure CEA CAPA is poised to best meet the needs of today's students and global employers. Megan uses an inclusive, empowering, and strengths-based approach to design and deliver innovative career development programming for students before, during, and after their programs, so they can make the most of their experiences abroad and approach their lifelong career journeys with confidence and enthusiasm.  

Megan has over 15 years of experience setting students up for success in the fields of education abroad and career services. She is a NACE-Certified Career Coach and Gallup CliftonStrengths Certified Coach who is deeply passionate about bridging the gap between study abroad and career development, in order to foster students' holistic academic, personal, and professional development. Megan earned her Master's Degree in International Education from the School for International Training (SIT) Graduate Institute and her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Skidmore College. She has studied, interned, volunteered, and conducted research in several countries including South Africa, Tanzania, Mexico, and Nicaragua. She is an avid lifelong learner who enjoys pushing herself out of her comfort zone and learning about different cultures. 

Originally from Vermont and now based in Phoenix, Arizona, in her free time Megan enjoys running and walking, doing crafts, listening to her favorite podcasts, and snuggling with her two cats Llama and Ferdi.
