WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class was called Food and Culture in Argentina. I truly learned so much about all things Argentina because of this class! I loved the field studies/trips that we went on in this class. It allowed me to experience a true Argentine's daily life.
how did you engage with the local community while abroad?
Going into the semester, my goal was to meet and interact with as many locals as I could. I attended cultural events within the city of Buenos Aires, where I met locals that I proceeded to hang out with for the remainder of the semester. I tried my best to spark conversation with locals that I met out and about. This was a great opportunity for me to practice my Spanish and in some cases, for the locals to practice their English.
