Why did you choose to study/intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad because I wanted to experience life in a different culture. I have traveled to Paris before and while learning the language since 7th grade I always wanted to come back and live in Paris for longer than a week. I love to travel also, so the idea of being so close to many countries was exciting.

Why did you choose your study/intern city?
I chose Paris because of the history and culture. I have experience speaking the language so it made it an easy transition. I didn't feel lost when trying to get around the city and I hope that living here will help me improve my knowledge of the language.

What are you most looking forward to during your abroad experience?
I am looking forward to traveling to different cities in France and other European countries. I have studied the places in Europe since middle school and finally get to travel to historical sites and see many different cultures.

Fun Fact (hobbies, interests, accomplishment, etc.)?
I competitively figure skated in middle and high school, competing in competitions across the Northeast United States. I competed on a synchronized skate team and individually.
