Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
As a Spanish major and Global Studies minor, I knew that studying abroad in Spain would enhance my academic experience. Experiencing a new culture is as eye-opening and incredible as it gets, especially for an entire semester.

Why did you choose your study/intern destination?
My family is from Spain, and I wanted to experience the lifestyle that many of my relatives have. Barcelona, specifically, is a gorgeous city with amazing landscapes, architecture, and food. Who wouldn't love to be surrounded by both the beach and mountains!     

What are you most looking forward to during your study/intern experience?
Being immersed in the Spanish culture and adapting it is what I am most excited for in Barcelona. Walking and taking the train everywhere is also a plus, as I come from a town where driving is the main form of transportation.    

what's a Fun Fact about you (hobbies, interests, accomplishment, etc.)?
I do yoga every day and have already bought a yoga mat here! I also have a research paper published in the Undergraduate Research Journal at my college.
