Why did you choose to study/intern abroad?
I've been taking Spanish classes since freshman year of high school, so studying abroad allows me to be immersed in the Spanish language and culture to improve my speaking skills. Study abroad also provides a great opportunity to meet students from different countries and divers backgrounds.

Why did you choose your study/intern city?
I've always wanted to study abroad in Spain, and I like the fact that Alicante is smaller than Barcelona and Madrid, so it provides more opportunities to practice Spanish. Alicante is also near beautiful beaches with access to hiking trails and interesting architecture

What are you most looking forward to during your abroad experience?
I'm looking forward to improving my Spanish speaking skills, meeting new friends, trying delicious Mediterranean food and experiencing new cultures!


Fun Fact (hobbies, interests, accomplishment, etc.)?
I love hiking, backpacking, biking (almost anything outdoors), playing guitar, and reading!
