Day trip to Nice, Eze, and Monaco with CEA CAPA Excursions
Since arriving in the French Riviera, I had the privilege of touring the surrounding cities; my experience with CEA CAPA has been one to remember. One of my favorite things about CEA CAPA is that they provide study abroad excursions to travel to surrounding areas, and these excursions are included in the program costs, which is so nice. I love this personally because it allows me to see things nearby that are affordable.
I joined the first CEA CAPA excursion that they offered. During this excursion, we were provided with three different surrounding areas to visit!
Stop 1: Nice, France
To begin the day, we started on a coach bus with fellow students studying abroad. We headed off to Nice, France which is around an hour from Antibes. The private coach took us on a tour of the city where we got to see different popular sites!
Group pictures we took in Nice at a lookout spot where you could see the whole city.
One of my favorite parts about Nice was the lookout where you could see the beautiful sea and Antibes in the distance, as well as the market where we got free time to purchase something for lunch and any souvenirs! My favorite part of the market was the fresh flowers.

After grabbing lunch, we headed to the beach where we sat near the sea and ate, such a beautiful view!

Stop 2: Eze, France
After loading onto the bus, we headed to a perfume factory where we learned about Fragonard and could purchase perfume.

This was at our next stop, the town of Eze, where we hiked up a hill to the cactus garden, which provided an extraordinary view!

Stop 3: Monaco, France

The next stop in the excursion was the country Monaco. This was probably my favorite! Here we got to see the Prince’s Palace, get some fresh crepes, and see the famous Formula 1 track!

Monaco has some of the best views of the sea and the town.
Stop 4: Monte Carlo, France
After hopping on the bus, we headed to Monte Carlo where we got to see the casino and the beautiful sunset before hopping on the bus back to Antibes. This excursion was one of my favorite experiences with CEA CAPA. Not only did they provide me with beautiful views but also long-lasting memories!
