With its diverse landscape, from skyscrapers to lush green spaces that turned into orange this autumn, London is absolutely marvelous. It was even more breathtaking from the London Eye.

The Thames within the city

The London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel, is a "cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3 million visitors annually."

It is surrounded by a lot of other tourist attractions on both sides of the River Thames.

To get there, take the Tube to the Embankment Tube Station. When you leave the station, walk through the Hungerford Bridge and Golden Jubilee Bridges, then one side you'll see the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben and on the other side, you'll see the London Eye.

Westminster Abbey and Big Ben

You'll have to pre-book tickets to access the London Eye−which CEA CAPA did for us. You then join the line to board one of the capsules and enjoy the ride for about 30 minutes.

Skyscrapers in London

It moves very slowly, preventing any dizziness and allowing you to absorb and capture the beautiful view. From the top, you get a flying sensation, so catch your breath and enjoy it.

After that, make sure you stop by the gift shop and get a souvenir!
