As a Sociology major studying in Buenos Aires, I have been observing and learning the cultural norms here, specifically in comparison to the norms in the U.S. Understanding the people, the life, and the values in this city has greatly broadened my personal perspective in the field I am captivated by. As I have written previously in blogs, I am not a city girl, but I have enjoyed this immersion into Argentine culture for the insight it has brought me, both in my major and my personal life.
