It is difficult for me to write this last blog knowing it means my journey in Prague is coming to an end. It’s not possible for me to put into words how much this city and this experience has meant to me. Never in a million years did I think four months could fly by this fast. I’ve made lifelong friends and a lifetime of memories which are making it so much harder to leave this place. I don’t know how I got so lucky to live with five other girls who have become my best friends. I’m excited to go back to America just because I’m excited for all my new friends to come visit me!
 My last tredelnik

I’ve traveled to fourteen different countries this semester, but Prague always calls me back home. Prague has taught me to never stop exploring, try new restaurants, or meet new people. Even after four months of being here, I’m still discovering new places in the city every day.

Anglo American University challenged me this semester in the best ways. I had the best professor I’ve ever had and I spent many hours in my favorite cafes studying. CEA has given me exactly what I’ve needed to thrive here. The field trips, advice, and community I was given are memories I’ll forever cherish.

My best advice for anyone studying abroad, especially in Prague, is to never take for granted the amount of time you have in the semester. Start exploring early so you won’t have any regrets about not trying something or not going somewhere by the time the semester is over. Make friends with your neighbors and other people in your classes because the best friends I made this semester came from me getting out of my comfort zone to meet people. Have roommate dinners and always ask if anyone needs something from the market when you go because nobody wants to walk up four flights of stairs to the apartment unless they have to. Never worry about your suitcase weighing too much by having too many souvenirs because I promise you’ll find a way to bring them all home.
I finally checked skydiving off my bucket list in Prague!

Prague, thanks for the semester of a lifetime! I’ll be back!
