The World is Your Oyster

This semester in Dublin has been so incredibly amazing, but I also had the opportunity to travel to other parts of Europe! I was able to travel to Albufeira, Portugal; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Berlin, Germany; and Prague, Czech Republic. While the last three were all about seeing the cities, Portugal was all about laying on the beach and relaxing before finals. Here are a few pictures to highlight the amazing trips!
 Belrin TV Tower

 East Side Gallery

The first photo shows the TV tower in Berlin, which you can basically see from everywhere. According to our tour guide, the Germans "wanted to be the best," so they built the second tallest structure in the EU. The second picture is the East Side Gallery, an outdoor art gallery on the remaining Berlin Wall which features artists from all over the world showcasing their (sometimes) controversial but (always) amazing artwork.
 Locks in Prague

 Prague Castle

The above two pictures are from Prague, Czech Republic. The first is a railing filled up with locks which have the names of people inscribed in them. The second picture is from Prague Castle, it gives a phenomenal view of the entire city!
 Albufeira, Portugal beach

Last but not least, Portugal! We took this trip two weeks before finals as a de-stresser. The beach was absolutely stunning, we did not want to leave. Definitely worth a trip back!
