Home Away From Home

When I imagined where I would be living during my semester abroad I imagined a small apartment or dorm; nothing too nice, or too big, just typical "college" living. Boy was I wrong.  The apartment I’ve had the pleasure to live in the past four months has proven everything I imagined wrong.

The living room is very spacious with plenty of sitting room. There are two large green bookshelves taking up one of the walls, adding a fun pop of color to the otherwise white room.  The kitchen is very open, with marble counter tops and a glass kitchen table. Stretching along the wall above the sink and stove there is a window with a view of the rooftops of the buildings surrounding us, and the mountains in the background.
 Bathroom

Two of my roommates share a bedroom, while my other roommate and I have our own rooms. Us two with our own bedrooms share a bathroom, while my two roommates who share a  bedroom also share a bathroom. My bathroom walls are tiled completely in a pink ombre and has two sinks.

Out of all of the cool things in my apartment, my favorite would have to be our roof top terrace. During the warmer months is was nice to go up there and eat dinner at night, or lay out during the day. It also is a perfect stop for us to hang our laundry.
