Once you go abroad, you come back a different person, and it's hard to explain until you do it yourself. A friend of a friend of a friend perfectly described it as, "Nothing [at home] changes once you're back. The only thing that changes is you."
As my time abroad dwindles down, I have spent a lot of time thinking about how I--and my views--have changed after being immersed in a whole new culture. If anything else, this experience has taught me the importance of being flexible, keeping an open mind, and how much I need good burritos and sushi in my life (why is the Mexican food and sushi here so not up to par??).
Anyway, I had the pleasure of interviewing 11 of my classmates to hear their thoughts and feelings about their study abroad experience, and I am glad to report that they all are loving it!
