My topic for this video is a typical day in Madrid. You can go on Google to see tourist attractions, you can learn the language on Rosetta Stone, you cannot, however, walk a day in Madrid without being in Madrid. This city has everything I could ever think a city could need: solid transportation, beautiful architecture, and exquisite people. The video follows my life from when I wake up to when I go to sleep, leaving out a few small details.
I live with a host mother in a city right outside the center of Madrid. Every morning, my mother makes me breakfast and I take the metro to school. At school, I am enrolled in 4 classes both taught in English and in Spanish. Nebrija is an amazing university because of the variety of international and domestic students there and the incredible teachers. After my classes, around 3:30, I come home for lunch and usually siesta. After my siesta, I may do some homework or contact friends and family back home. On this day, I then went to the cinema with some friends.
This video is a real interpretation of Madrid but, of course, not the only one. The events change every single day I am here and that is my favorite part about Madrid.
