One of my favorite things to do in my spare time in Ireland is to hike. My roommates and I love packing our bags and heading out of the city to enjoy the Irish countryside and fresh air. It makes for a good break from the hustle and bustle of the city and to clear our heads from a long week at work. Hiking in Ireland is fairly easy to do because the island is so small. Public transportation makes it easy to get to these sites and hostels are cheap to make the trip last a full weekend. We also took advantage of the many touring companies in Dublin that sell tickets for a full day’s worth of traveling to sites that may have been hard to get to on our own.
