The Last Supper, Great Masters Style

Art History 333, The Great Masters: Leonardo, Michelangelo and Rapahel, has been one of my favorite classes of all time. Each week our lovely professor, Katharina, takes us to museums, churches, sacristies, and more to see the beautiful works of The Great Masters and others.  Each person in our class was assigned an artist or a specific work of art to become an expert and present on at some point during the semester.

Burton Chaikin, best know as Burt around these parts, was assigned a toughy - The Last Supper.  Seeing as this is one of the most important, most defining moments in the Catholic Church, The Last Supper is a bit difficult to cover in a 5 minute presentation.  The creative guy he is, Burt decided to approach this assignment a little - ok, a lot - differently than the rest of us.  The 9 pictures that ensued after weeks of preparation and research by Burt are pretty amazing.
