Sun in Old Town Prague |
The cold is not foreign to us Prague students, for it is often very chilly here, but as we head into these spring months, the temperature rises and the tourists flock. There is nothing better than walking out your door on a spring afternoon and smelling the fresh warm air of a beautiful day. For me, it would be a sin to stay inside on a sunny day, so instead, I decide to take the town and walk around, smiling at everything I see.
Now’s the time for the Easter Markets to start popping up all over Prague. I love roaming around these markets, aimlessly lost, and looking at every vendor's stand, buying souvenirs for my friends and family back home. You can find everything from key chains, to painted eggs, to beer mugs, and much more. There are food stands selling the infamous Trdelnik and traditional Czech meat. You can even grab a Pilsner Urquell or a Kingswood Cider.

Easter Market, Old Town Prague |
To walk around an Easter Market on a lovely spring afternoon is a magical experience. Everyone is incredibly happy and kind and the amount of things to see, buy, and eat are endless.
A spring afternoon well spent in Prague.
