I’ve been in Florence for almost 2 months now, and I still find myself in awe of this marvelous, historical city every day. The classy and sassy Florentine culture adds its flare to everything here, from the heavenly food to the fascinating artwork, music, architecture that is literally found around every corner. DaVinci and Michelangelo definitely set the bar high for Florentines, but I’d say they’re following through quite nicely.
There is always something new to discover here; an unexplored street to mosey down, a new gelato flavor to try out, a different church or museum to visit. All of the history and surprises Florence has to offer make it an intriguing place to explore. With that in mind, let’s take a little stroll through my city, Firenze!
