Vice President for Strategic Partnerships Dr. John D. Heyl Receives the AIEA 2013 Rutenber Award

CEA Global Education wishes to congratulate Vice President for Strategic Partnerships Dr. John D. Heyl who was recently recognized as the recipient for the 2013 AIEA Timothy J. Rutenber Award. This award honors AIEA members who have rendered long-term and outstanding service to the Association.

As described by many of his award nominators, Dr. Heyl’s sustainable leadership, service, passion, wisdom and grace were some of many mentioned qualities that contributed to this achievement.

“Dr. Heyl has contributed to every dimension of AIEA’s organization, including serving as AIEA’s President in 2000-2001,” said Director of Academic Affairs Dr. Paige E. Sindt. “John has participated in numerous committees and leadership roles, facilitated dialogues across the organization, led workshops and training for professionals, and is a regular conference contributor as well as an author and editor in the scholarly journal and other AIEA publications.”

Dr. Heyl has dedicated 23 years of service to AIEA, and continues to contribute his highly respected intellect and vision.
