CEA Excursions through the Lens of a MOJO

This was the view from the welcoming dinner reception on our first night.

CEA took us on a tour of a bomb shelter; we learned all about the history and even got to hear some crazy stories about its use after the war.

And what's Barcelona without its soccer team? This was the FC Barcelona vs Getafe game at the Camp Nou Stadium.

Another CEA excursion was a trip to Besalú, a tiny city north of Barcelona.

Girona had amazing ruins, but we walked up so many flights of stairs!

This CEA day trip was to Tarragona, home to the largest preserved circus (part of which you see in the picture).

Although our first day in Valencia was full of rain, it made for an amazing view of the City of Arts and Sciences.

...and of the beach!

Castellers (the human tower that you see) is a tradition in Catalonia. Takes some real strength to climb up that high!

And finally, when I get a little homesick, I can head up to Mont Juic for the day and see cactus, as if I were in Arizona.
