Now is the perfect time to start planning for a 2009 Summer or Fall
study abroad program with CEA. While you are still on campus, schedule a time to meet with your school's study abroad office, your professors, and the financial aid/bursar's office before the end of the term. After gathering all your information, you'll be ready to sit down with your parents over the winter break and have an intelligent discussion about your options. Even if you don't plan on asking your parents to help you with paying for your study abroad experience, they will likely still want to be involved in the process.
Ok, that takes care of planning. What about saving money?
Right now, you can still get Summer 2009 and Fall 2009 programs at 2008 prices. On February 1st, CEA will complete our annual pricing review for the upcoming Summer and Fall programs. That means you have just under a month to get your ducks in a row and apply in order to lock in the lower price for your program. CEA Admissions Counselors are ready to answer any of your questions regarding
credit transfer, assist you with
finding the right program, and to help you find the information you need for your school and your parents on the web.
