Academic Program

CEA Study Abroad has partnered with the Department of French and Italian at the University of Arizona to offer a six-week French Language, Cultures, and History program in Paris, France during the Summer 2021 term.

As part of the program, students will have the opportunity to take two French Language courses taught by University of Arizona faculty member Anne-Marie Engels-Brooks and transcripted by CEA’s school of record, the University of New Haven.

Program Dates

Arrival: Sunday, May 30th, 2021
Departure: Sunday, July 11th, 2021

• French 301: Pronunciation and Conversation
• French 302: Grammar, Usage, & Composition
• French 310: Spoken French in Cultural Context
• French 320: Written French in Cultural Context – Reading, Writing, & Simulation
• French 425: Paris – The Cultural Capital of France
• French 457: French Cinema

What’s Included

• Airport reception
• Orientation
• Housing in homestays, including daily breakfast and three dinners per week
• Excursions outside of Paris
