Program Structure & Courses

You’ll enroll in 1 or 2 CEA virtual elective courses. Courses meet for 45 contact hours/3 credits. If you choose the 1-course option, you may earn 3 credits (up to 45 contact hours); in the 2-course option, you may earn 6 credits (up to 90 contact hours).

Courses are taught in English using an online Learning Management System. You are expected to be an active participant in online forums, in addition to completing your regular readings, videos and homework. You can expect a blend of synchronous (live) and asynchronous (at your own pace) learning approaches that provide individual attention and flexibility for your learning style. Engaging in your “own way” gives you an opportunity to showcase your engagement in any topic or assignment while being part of an online global learning community.

Upon enrollment in the program, you will select your preferred courses. You will be enrolled into courses based on their availability, therefore we recommend you have alternative courses approved by your home university should your first choice courses not meet enrollment minimums. Please consult with your academic advisor at your home university on credit pre-approval guidelines.
