Program Structure & Courses

You’ll enroll in 3–4 CEA CAPA courses. Courses meet for 45 contact hours each, and CEA CAPA recommends 3 U.S. semester credits for each course. You will have the opportunity to earn 9–12 semester credits for your time abroad. This is equivalent to approximately 13.5–18 quarter credit hours, which is a full-time course load for a quarter.

Courses typically meet Monday – Thursday.

Prior to departure, you will select your preferred courses. You will be enrolled into courses based on their availability. It is in your best interest to have multiple alternative courses approved by your home institution prior to your departure in case there are changes to course availability. Please consult with your academic advisor at your home university on credit pre-approval guidelines and semester to quarter credit conversions.
