Studying abroad in Dublin with CEA CAPA offers you an unparalleled study abroad experience in the vibrant heart of Ireland’s capital, voted Europe’s friendliest cities. The CEA CAPA Dublin Center is located on the Dublin campus of Champlain College.
Located in central Dublin, the Center is easily walkable from Iveagh Gardens, Stephen’s Green Park, and the Grand Canal, where you will be surrounded by lush foliage and iconic Dublin landmarks, creating the perfect blend of city energy and serene greenery. Whether exploring Dublin Castle or taking a weekend trip to the scenic landscapes of Inis Mor, you will be immersed in Ireland's rich history and breathtaking beauty at every turn.
The Dublin Center creates a personalized learning environment with small class sizes and dedicated faculty. Accreditation
Courses taught at the CEA CAPA Dublin Center have been designed in conjunction with, and approved by, the University of New Haven (UNH). In addition, faculty appointments have been approved by UNH. After the successful completion of a session at the CEA CAPA Dublin Center, you will receive credit for your work from UNH. Located in Connecticut, the University of New Haven is a student-focused, comprehensive university that’s fully accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). The agreement between CEA CAPA and UNH follows the highest standards of good practice in education abroad and satisfies the rigorous requirements of the University's institutional accreditor, making credits earned at the CEA CAPA Dublin Center easily transferable to US-accredited institutions. Grading
Professors at the CEA CAPA Dublin Center carefully evaluate students' work and progress throughout their academic session. When calculating final grades, instructors consider written and oral exercises, homework assignments, attendance, classroom participation, and exam performance.
The following grading scale is in use for CEA CAPA center-delivered syllabi:

Classroom and Information
- Classes are taught by international faculty.
- Periodic exams, homework assignments, and final exams will be administered.
- Attendance in all classes is mandatory and monitored by each professor.
- Teaching styles in Ireland may differ from those in the U.S. Be prepared to adapt to different classroom structures and coursework expectations.
- Class size ranges from 15 to 25 students for electives, allowing you to receive personalized attention from instructors.

DCU Student Residences are only available to students in Dublin City University programs. Students studying at Dublin City University will select their housing through the DCU portal. Please note, some DCU housing options may carry a supplemental fee. Contact your Student Advisor for details.
