DESCRIPTION
This module will enable students to understand and evaluate the legislative and judicial structure and functioning of
European Union institutions, the fundamental characteristics of EU law, its methods and procedures. This
knowledge is applied to selective areas of law which may include examples such as the economic and social law of
the internal market, social policy and competition law. The module shows how European Union law has been
influenced by its historical, political, economic and social contexts.
