DESCRIPTION
The aim of this course is to enable students to acquire a basic understanding of the economy as a system of firms, institutions and consumers. They will also be introduced to the main features of policymaking and the role played by the state in managing the economy. No strict prerequisites are envisaged but some background in microeconomics is advisable.
