DESCRIPTION
This course features the study of the principles, practices, and theories of modern advertising communication, ranging from planning and execution to research and social effects. The course will provide students with an understanding of the purpose of creative advertising, building a communication around marketing strategies, understanding the process of building a strong brand and learning practical applications of all the building steps for an effective final creative campaign. Students will gain practical knowledge and experience through real advertising projects. Emphasis will be placed upon learning strategic thinking skills and developing advertising strategies and business practices/methods used by professionals in advertising.
