DESCRIPTION
This course for advanced level students of Spanish leads to a greater fluency in informal conversations and discussions, and progression in writing by applying and developing the grammatical knowledge of students while they expand their vocabulary and expressions. Thus, it teaches students to use different communication registers based on a selection of short films and other graphic and audio materials, as well as newspaper articles. The principal methodology involves articles and videos to be viewed in class and then to debate on them; each of these discussions will end with a correction of the mistakes of the conversation, a review of the vocabulary used, along with a composition about the specific topic. By the end of the course, students must perform in groups the script for a short film created by them.
