DESCRIPTION
This course aims to give students an analytical overview of the main Spanish theatrical styles of the twentieth century up to now. To do so, there will be an introduction to the necessary knowledge of the historical, social and artistic context of each work. The general characteristics of each style will be analyzed, discussed and assessed by studying a particular author and a representative theatrical text. This analysis will be developed in a particularly exhaustive approach on the four compulsory readings to be made by the student.
