DESCRIPTION
This course provides with an overview of the Spanish literature. It ranges from medieval to contemporary literature. This course is planned as an introduction to the major movements, authors, texts and genres of literary productions in Spain. The course focuses on the social, historical and psychological analysis of the Spanish society, but seen from literature. The goal is to do a review of fragments of the representative works of Spanish literature through the study of the genera used in different periods: lyric, narrative and drama.
