DESCRIPTION
In this course, students without previous knowledge of Spanish will be exposed to the language for the first time. Students will be introduced to lexical content e.g.: personal information, hobbies, stores products, etc.) as well as cultural content (customs and regions) in order to be able to communicate and participate in different everyday situations and basic social interactions with Spanish speakers. Students will learn how to introduce themselves, how to ask questions, and how to express their interests, tastes and preferences. In addition, students will be introduced to schedules, routines and habits that will help them assimilate into the living culture in Spain. This course will also cover all the topics related to the A1-basic Spanish grammar focusing on specific topics, which present a higher degree of difficulty. By the end of this course, students will have reinforced grammatical structures needed to successfully fulfill the communicative goals of the situations mentioned above.
