This module introduces key perspectives in international relations theory, both classical and modern. The Realist tradition will be a central concern, but critiques and alternatives will also be analysed. Throughout the module, we'll apply IR theory to real-world developments such as: war and peace, global justice, human rights, foreign policy and diplomacy, nationalism, and revolution.
