DESCRIPTION
This unit provides a final year course that introduces students to the ever changing fields of technical analysis and market psychology within the wider field of money management. Particular emphasis is placed on the interpretation of market action and students acquire skills in charting, statistical market analysis and trading through the use of appropriate software. This unit was the first undergraduate level course in technical analysis in the UK and students gain active experience of trading US equities through their group based management of a hedge fund.
